"Victor by definition means winner – literally, someone who defeats an opponent in a competition. I want all of us to win."

Growing up, I had friends of all kinds, but when I came out as gay, I naturally spent more time with my girl friends. Most guys made fun of my higher voice and feminine mannerisms, so obviously I gravitated toward people who weren't putting me down. My relationship with men wasn't great, to say the least.
After college, I decided to fully dive into gay culture. I moved to San Francisco, had my first "official" relationship, and built an amazing community of supportive gay men. I learned how to have real conversations about things that matter – sex, personal health, emotions, and yes, more sex.
Fast forward to six months ago when I moved to Austin, Texas for a startup accelerator. I wasn't just thrown into a group of 90 strangers – I was the only openly gay man in a room full of straight people for the first time in five years. I hadn't really hung out with this many straight folks since college. It was like I was studying abroad and getting a degree in heterosexuals!
Over eight weeks, I formed deep, meaningful relationships with some of the most interesting people I've ever met. And what I discovered about straight male existence truly surprised me.
First, I realized we're not that different. At our core, we want the same things – to feel connected to ourselves and others. But there are a few things we need to address:
We don't talk about sex honestly enough. I don't mean the "I wanna tap that" conversations – I'm talking about real discussions about desires, interests, and sexual health. My gay friends know about my kinks, desires, and yes, even if I got whiskey dick or if things are... functioning differently than usual. I think this is one of the most important parts of our existence.
Talking about total body health feels impossible. We all talk about hitting the gym and getting pumped, but what about therapy and emotional releases? What about how vitamins and supplements improve our minds and bodies? And the straight male diet... we really need to talk about that.
THE BOYS ARE DOWN BAD! And it's not entirely their fault...
That's why I started Victor – to create a space where we can have authentic conversations about our shared experience as men. I want to build a community where men actually want to see other men WIN. We're here to be your biggest hype man, wingman, best man – whatever you need.
Only join if you connect with our main pillars:
Openness: We're going to talk about uncomfortable topics. Keep an open mind. True confidence comes from acceptance, while judgment stems from insecurity.
Connection: We're building meaningful relationships with men who want to see others succeed. Bring that energy and help your brothers grow.
Growth: Mental, physical, and emotional. This is the cornerstone – the reason you're here.
